LoveBug is an annual First Friday art event in downtown Raleigh produced by Toxic Free NC and hosted by Epona & Oak, a boutique in historic City Market.
Local artists compete in a bug drawing contest where artwork is auctioned off to the top bidder. A month-long gallery show at featuring bug-related art from area artists accompanies the auction and draw-off.
The auction proceeds and gallery sales benefit Toxic Free NC's work to fight pesticide pollution and to advocate for children's environmental health.
