There are many ways that you can become involved
in our work, or in other activities that benefit your community
and environment. Here are 10 great ways you can fight pesticide
pollution and get more involved with Toxic Free NC:
1. Take
action today to fight pesticide
pollution in North Carolina!
2. Keep
up with the action. Sign
up for Toxic Free NC Action Alerts and we'll email
you each month about a current pesticide issue and how
you can take action. Subscribe
to Toxic Free News, and have news about
Toxic Free NC and pesticide issues in North Carolina
delivered to your mailbox or inbox 3 times a year.
3. Volunteer.
Give us a call at (919) 833-1123 and we’ll put you
to work.
4. Intern.
Are you a student? Get course credit while fighting pesticide
pollution.
5. Donate.
We rely on contributions from everyday folks like you to
make it happen. Small gifts are just as important as big
ones.
6.
Be a Toxic Free NC Ambassador. Help us win important changes by sharing your story with decision makers or the media.
7. Help
us reach more people. If you belong
to a church, civic organization, PTA, garden club, or
other group, we’d love to provide you with materials you can share, or come talk with all of
you in person. Contact

8. Go
organic. When
you choose not to purchase products made with dangerous
chemicals, you’re not only protecting your health,
but supporting sustainable agriculture and clean air
and water as well.
9. Become
a local activist for public health and
the environment. We'd love to help you find solutions

10. Get
informed. Follow
the links on this website to learn all you can about
pesticides, health, and the environment, and ask questions
about what’s being used around you every day.
