Pesticides affect many of us personally. Some of us have been sick, or our family members have been; some have been hurt by pesticides used in our work or in our own backyards; and others have stopped using pesticides because we've seen first hand how much healthier our farm or garden can be without them.

What's your pesticide story? Toxic Free NC is collecting people's stories about how pesticides have affected their lives. Personal stories are the most powerful way to communicate with friends and neighbors about reducing pesticide use. They're also the most effective way to communicate with elected representatives about the importance of political reforms that protect us all from pesticides. >>Share your story.

Watch our new web video, Farm Workers Talk about Pesticides, in which several NC farm workers share their stories about the health effects of pesticides they've encountered at work. The photographs and interviews in this video were collected this past summer by our staff member Ana Duncan Pardo and intern Laura Valencia as part of our Farm Worker Documentary project.

Join the brave farm workers in this video - share your story and make your voice heard for pesticide reform in North Carolina!

Take action to make your voice heard for pesticide reform in North Carolina!
