We've updated our list of NC farms selling organic or low-spray Christmas trees and wreaths - check it out! Trees to benefit Duke Forestry Organic Christmas Tree Farm The Duke chapter of the Society of American Foresters is selling NC-grown Christmas trees to benefit their new organic Christmas tree farm at Duke Forest. To be clear - they're selling trees grown elsewhere (in Western NC specifically), and that aren't organic (though they are low-spray!). They'll start harvesting their own organic trees in 4 or 5 years. Pre-orders are already closed, but they'll have some trees available for on-site sale at the Duke Forest shed. Pick up dates will be Sunday, November 29 from 1 to 5 pm and Saturday, December 5 from 10 am to 4 pm. |
Green Hill Urban Farm Green Hill Urban Farm is selling a few naturally-grown Christmas Trees this year which are grown on Mike's family land in Brevard. Interested customers can pick up their tree at Green Hill Urban Farm in West Asheville. Just call Mike at the number above to make arrangments. |

Rogue Harbor Farm Aubrey and Linda's growing methods are USDA certified organic. They grow Fraser Fir Christmas trees, and make Fraser Fir wreaths and centerpieces and other greenery products for mail-order or on-farm purchase. You can get their trees and greenery direct from the farm, and wreaths are also available by mail order through www.localharvest.org. Just contact Linda directly with any questions! |
