What's your pesticide story?
Seeking Toxic Free NC Ambassadors

Pesticides affect many of us very personally. Some of us have been made sick, or our family members have been; some have been hurt by pesticides used in our work or in our own backyards; and others have stopped using pesticides because we’ve seen first hand how much healthier our farm or garden can be without them.

Toxic Free NC is looking for people who want to share their pesticide story – with their neighbors, with decision makers, with the media, and/or with everyone over our website! Personal stories are the most powerful way to communicate with friends and neighbors about reducing pesticide use. They’re also the most effective way to communicate with elected representatives about the importance of political reforms that protect us all from pesticides.

This past summer, Toxic Free NC collected personal stories from one group of people affected by pesticides: farm workers. The result is a beautiful and powerful web video that you can see on our website at toxicfreenc.org

Join the farm workers in the video by sharing your pesticide story. To get involved, please call Billie at 919-833-1123, or email her at .
