Recent Honors
The staff and board at Toxic Free
NC are proud and honored to have been recognized for
our work by two important institutions recently.
In October, 2006
the NC Center for Nonprofits presented us with
their "Nonprofit Sector Stewardship Award." The
Center annually recognizes North Carolina non-profit
organizations "for their exemplary stewardship
of the resources entrusted to them." Center
President Jane Kendall and Board member Doris
Stith presented the award at the Center's annual
statewide conference.
