Help us meet the challenge!

Donor Laura Lauffer says, "I donate to [Toxic Free NC] because they are doing targeted work on the ground level...we are so fortunate to have this resource right here in our community." Here Laura's kids Riana and Rhys show off their family's tomato harvest.

This year, we want to bring more people than ever on board with our mission of getting pesticide pollution out of our food, water and our bodies.  Our goal is to build a grassroots movement to advocate for toxic-free kids and just, sustainable agriculture that puts people before profits.  Our friends at the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation want to help us meet this goal, and have issued a challenge:  if we can raise $10,000 in new donations in 2008, the foundation will match it with a $10,000 grant.  Imagine how much that could help us grow!

Want to know how can you help?  If you’ve never given before, consider making a donation.  Every gift counts towards the $10,000 challenge.  If you have donated previously and you increase this year’s gift, that increase counts towards the challenge, too.  You can make a gift online anytime at www.toxicfreenc.org.

Most of all, we want to meet new people who want to live in a cleaner, safer, better world.  Invite us to your church, book club, PTA group, community festival, or any event where you think people will want to join the movement for a Toxic Free North Carolina.  Call us at 1-877-NO SPRAY, or email us to get us out to your community.
