Toxic Free News is becoming Bilingual!
by Alejandra Gómez

Toxic Free NC is very proud to be publishing its first ever English/Spanish bilingual issue of the Toxic Free News print edition this month!

Here at Toxic Free NC we have been working for some time to provide our materials and publications to North Carolina’s Spanish-speaking communities, and we are very proud of this accomplishment. This Summer's issue of the Toxic Free News is planned to be bilingual in print, email, and web formats. By the end of this year, we hope to have all our publications available in both English and Spanish, including all sections of our website and Toxic Free NC Action Alerts.

You can check out our existing online resources in Spanish at http://www.toxicfreenc.org/espanol.

Latinos are often highly affected by pesticides in our environment. We consider it our obligation to provide clear, culturally-appropriate information on pesticide risks and alternatives to everyone affected by this issue. We hope that these expanded resources will serve North Carolina well, and allow more people join the campaign for pesticide-free communities across the state!
