We need YOU!
There are lots of ways that you can get more involved in our work for pesticide reform and support Toxic Free NC.
One
way for committed folks to support us is by serving on
Toxic Free NC’s Board of Directors.
This dynamic body brings together community activists,
teachers, pediatricians, lawyers, organic farmers, farmworker
advocates, business people, environmentalists and others
from across our state who share a common commitment to
pesticide reform in North Carolina, and more broadly, to
environmental health and justice, and a sustainable future.
Our Board members serve as stewards of the organization,
and each contributes her or his own skills and passions
to the success of our work, and to the health and growth
of the organization. Currently, our Board meets four times
per year, and a term on the Board lasts for 3 years. If
you are interested in learning about supporting Toxic Free
NC in this very important way, please contact us!
There are plenty of other ways you can support us, too. As a small non-profit organization, we rely on friends like you for much of our funding. You can make a donation anytime by sending a check to the address below, or use your credit card to donate online. We can also accept gifts of stocks and bonds, and we are always looking for in-kind gifts such as office supplies, lunch for a Board meeting, or services we may need - and most of these gifts are also tax-deductible. Finally, visit our volunteer website to learn about ongoing opportunities to volunteer or intern with us.
